BEWICK, Yvonne (Lingard) - Passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 16th, 2010 surrounded by her family, at the Brantford General Hospital in her 88th year. Beloved wife of Chet Bewick for 64 years. Loving mother of Greg (Joyce Matthison), Paul, Jane and Joan Maiorano (Dave Todd). Cherished grandma of Tomy (Natasha), Jessica, Jeb, Jade, Daniella (Kyle) and Jessica. Great-grandmother of Lilly. Yvonne will also be fondly remembered by many friends. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and all the staff at the Brantford General Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the Brantford General Hospital, Palliative Care would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Yvonne in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
