FEATHERSTON, G. Marie - Surrounded by her loving family, Marie passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10th, 2010, at the Brantford General Hospital, in her 88th year. Loving wife of the late Howard Featherston (1993). Dear mother of Barbara (the late Dale) Plant and Joan Featherston. Beloved grandmother of Jeff (Jean) Plant and great-grandmother of Brianna and Jarett. Marie is survived by her sister Irene (the late Sterling) Hunt and brother-in-law Harvey (Marj) Featherston. Predeceased by her brother Laverne Humphrey and her sister Ruth (the late Dave) Galway. Friends will be received at the BECKETT - GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Friday, November 12th, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Salt Springs Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to Harmony United Church or the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Marie in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
