Obituary of Jean Welsh

WELSH, Jean Fulton Passed away peacefully, at the Brantford General Hospital, on Wednesday, July 21, 2010, in her 79th year. Daughter of the late Thornton and Marjorie Welsh. Jean was a nurse at the Brantford General Hospital for many years, later becoming a supervisor for the Canadian Red Cross Blood Services. She was a long time member of St. Andrew's (Zion) United Church and also a Choir member. Jean was a very kind and compassionate person. She was an animal lover, and was a Charter Member of the Brant Animal Aid Foundation. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, 95 Darling Street on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Sanctuary. Interment at Farringdon Burial Ground. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Andrew's United Church or the Brant Animal Foundation would be gratefully appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Beckett Glaves Family Funeral Centre, (519) 752-4331. A tree will be planted in memory of Jean in the Beckett Glaves Memorial Forest.
