KEWAGESHIG, Katherine Electa - It is with great sorrow that her family announces the passing of Katherine Electa Kewageshig, at the Brantford General Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Saturday, February 13th, 2010 surrounded by her loving brother Morris and family, at the age of 69. Loving mother of Rhonda and Steve, Jarrett and Kim, Carole and Dan, and Ray and Lisa. She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren Heather, Brad, Katie, Cass, Sarah, Nick, Jessica and Justin. Dear sister of Elaine and Wayne Tanner, Leonard, Willard and the late Eva, Martin and Noreen, Lawrence, and the late Gordon Sr. and Pauline. Best buddy to (Puppy) Kelso. Special thanks to the Henderson Hospital and the Juravinski Cancer Centre. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Thursday from 1-3 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. Cremation. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Kathrine in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
