Obituary of Josephine Walker

WALKER, Josephine (nee Efford) - Passed away at the Brantford General Hospital, on Sunday, January 31st, 2010, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Thomas for over 67 years. Loving mother of Richard and his wife Tina, and Jo-Ann and her husband Ron. Devoted grandmother of Tim and Ted, and her great-granddaughter Mackenzie. She will be fondly remembered by her brother Tom, sister Ellen, and many nieces, nephews and friends. "Josephine, may your soul be lifted to the highest heights by God because your heart, which was larger than life, would always extend help to a lost soul." Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., on Wednesday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens. Donations to the World Wildlife Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Josephine in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
