CARTER, Betty Jean - Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, September 5, 2009, surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife of the late George Carter. Much loved mother of Linda, George (Carrie), Doug (Lisa), Cathy (Sean), Debbie (Dave), and Teri (Michelle). Grandmother of Melissa (Dan), Jennifer, Ashley, Karissa, Natasha (Justin), Shane and Julie and great-grandmother of Braden. Betty will be sadly missed by niece Dale (Al) and family, special friends Mary and Bob Muise and her best friend Skylar. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 2 -4 & 7 -9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Onandaga. Donations to Camp Trillium or The Cancer Research Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Betty at the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
