HAMMOND, Donald Laverne "Don" - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29th, 2009, at St. Joseph's Villa in Cornwall, in his 89th year. Loving husband of the late Lois Hammond (nee Lloyd) (1996). Beloved father of Linda (Andy) Robinet and Phil (Joan) Hammond. Dear grandfather of Paul and Tracey. Much loved brother of Howard Hammond. Don will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Wednesday, September 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Don in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
