Dear Jane: I was so sorry to read of Don's death. I remember him so fondly from Simcoe High School.I often think of the Drennan family-your parents, Bill, and you. We had a good time growing up in Simcoe, with close family connections. My sincere sympathy to you and your family.
My sincere condolencs to his family, I was a student at Pauline Johnson and have fond memories of Vice Principal McArthur. He was more than fair with some situations that I got myself into. God Bless

Cam I just want to pass along my condolences to and your family at this difficult time. I have great memories of your dad as my vice-principal and as a hockey parent cheering us on. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am remembering all the good times with Uncle Don at the cottages at Mountain and Sparrow Lakes. I remember when our families got together for Christmas dinners, alternating between Mount Forest and Brantford. The often chilly Rockwood reunions with Aunt Bessie's butter tarts and Uncle Don's convertibles. Learning from the singalongs around the piano with Don, Bessie or Jane playing, without music! We are proud to be related to Uncle Don and to have shared in some of his wonderful life story. We send our warmest hugs to help ease your sorrow at this difficult time. Sue, Eric, Jennifer and Christopher
Our love and condolences are sent to Jane, Kim, Cam and all of the undefined family in the loss of a dear husband, father and grandpa. Don was a great friend of the Sovereigns for 0ver 50 years thru the Y's Mens Club, Brant Avenue Church Choir and also St Andrews. Don loved music and his rendition of There was a little bird, was taught to a group of Y's Men at Camp Ruddy over 40 years ago. You will recall Jane that a group of Y's Men sang this to Don at his retirement party at th BG&CC. This was a complete surprise to The General and all those present. What fun. Nomatter where or when you met Don, he always had a great smile or a joke or a warm handshake and usually all three. I particularly enjoyed sitting with Don many times at St. Andrews and singing the hyms in harmony as we did in Brant Avenue Choir for many years.I know that this a very sad time for your family but you have a wealth of many great memories and happy times with a great guy. Bon voyage Don - I hope you have a trombone and piano close at hand.
Our deepest sympathy in the loss of Uncle Don. We will remember his visits with his "Clark & Margie" and his funny jokes. His zest for life was infectious and his laugh contagious. Many memories tug at us, especially the Morgan/McArthur reunions, especially the last one at Michael's on his beachfront house, Uncle Don playing his trombone and the kiddies following him around the beach like the "pied-piper",everyone singing and laughing. How precious those times were. Our thoughts and hearts are with you all at this difficult time. Ronald, Nancy, A.J. and Laura Morgan
