Condolences
Hello,my name is Alex Forsyth. I would like to send my sincere condolences to the family of Ross Durham.I was fortunate to meet this kind gentleman at Norview Lodge.Every Friday for two and one half years I anticipated going to his room and asking if he was up for some music.Ross never failed to have a cheery smile and would literally leap out of his chair to go with me.His excitement really made me feel good about my playing and would always give me confidence to do better.I owe Ross many thanks.I do know that every caregiver at Norview spoke very highly of Ross.He was just that kind of a soul.Ross is in my thoughts and I will miss him. Thank You and God Bless. Alex Forsyth
Our Deepest Sympathy to your Family. Norma, Cecil, Roy and Doris - the ones with whom we know. We remember Ross and his contribution to the great music he provided for us skaters for many, many years. We often mention all of his Family and the wonderful happy times we enjoyed together. Rest In Peace, Friend. Dalbert & Aldona Dawson (and ALL of his skater friends.)
We were very sorry to learn of Ross' passing, and we offer our sympathy to all members of his family. We had many pleasurable skates to Ross' music at Brantford and St. George, to name a few arenas, where he set the standard for that type of music. Ross was kind enough to pass on some of his skating music to Art and it continues providing enjoyment for the Jordan Adult Skating Club.
I remember Uncle Ross as a very kind and dignified and caring person. He always asked how I was and later on asked about my husband and children, if they weren't around at the time. I remember the family farm and skating on the frozen stream that ran through the area, in the winter. He was a very special and well loved uncle and I will miss him.
