POWLESS, Earlene Leona - Peacefully at St. Joseph's Health Care, Hamilton on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the age of 65 with her family by her side. Companion of the late Bill Lloyd. Much loved daughter of Maisie Metcalfe. Beloved mother of Wilfred Samuel Powless and his wife Lori; Daniel Powless and his wife Patricia; Charlene Powless and Ron; and the late Leone Carpenter and the late Ronald Powless. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Jimmy, Richard, Jeannie, Crystal, Sean, Willy, Alexander, Adam, Derrick, Ronald, Valerie, Resha, Ashley, Natasha and the late Darren. Great-grandmother of 20 and the late Oceanle. Sister of Clarence (Joe) and Royetta (Toots). Will be missed by many other family members and friends, especially Pat Norton. Friends will be received at Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Thursday, May 21 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1 p.m.. Interment Oakhill Cemetery. Donations to Diabetes Association or the Lupus Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Earlene in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
