WALSH, William McLean "Bill" - Peacefully at the Stedman Hospice on Friday, February 27th, 2009 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Georgina (nee: Redditt) for 63 years. Loving father of Harvey and his wife Debbie, Cliff and his wife Arlene, Margaret and her husband Doug Shorey, Mary and her husband Peter Huston, and Susan. Caring grandfather of Danny, Peter, Jessica, Adam, Christine, Travis and Amy and 7 great-grandchildren. Bill was the Senior Elder Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Stedman Hospice or the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Bill in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
