Condolences
Dear Bryon and Jan, We were so sorry to hear of your loss. Stan will always be the "shoe man" for us for in may ways he embodied the qualities of leather. He was tough and durable yet shone with a warmth and depth that was truly endearing. Sincere condolences to you and your family. Rick and Susan Montgomery
It is with great sadness that I have to write this to all of you. Bernice, I am so sad to hear of Stan's passing. What wonderful memories I have of him when you would both come into Kelsey's. Whenever he would sneak up on me and put his hands over my eyes to try and guess who it was, I would know it was him. He was my little ray of sunshine on those days and his sense of humor was one that I have missed. I am thinking of all of you and know that he will never be forgotten. Barbe Stephens, formerly of Kelsey's Collingwood
Our deepest sympathy goes out to your family, we will always remember Stan as our great neighbour at the cottage who always took good care of our cottage when we were away, and who was always friendly and thoughtfull. Our condolences, Sincerly George, Mary Jennifer, Christine and Bryan Gregorio
To the Czarnik family, I read of your father's passing in the paper and just wanted to send my condolences. I have many fond memories of your Dad being "Stan the Shoe Man". We lived up the street from his store and my mother was a regular customer who bought all her shoes from him, following him from his store on Syndenham St and later, the St. Paul Ave location beside The Cinderella Shop. Stan was immortalized by my brother Ken who, to this day, can imitate his "famous voice" with incredible accuracy. I remember his great sense of humor and the kindness he showed to my Mom and me when I accompanied her to the shop. I'm sure you will all miss him terribly. With sincere sympathy, Christine Kitchen
Bob & Diane, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. Sincerely, The Dawson Family ~ 9 Marigold St
Stan (or Mr. Czarnik or Sue's Dad as he was known to me) was such a great man, I have so many wonderful memories of Stan while growing up with his daughter Sue. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the Czarnik family. Monica Meserve
