GUINDON, Laura Gertrude (nee Brake) - Passed away suddenly November 1, 2008 at Charlotte Villa, Brantford. Beloved wife of Rheal Guindon of Leisureworld, Brantford. Loving mother of Susan Johnson (Miles Nagamatsu), Paulette Kennedy and Jim Johnson (Paula). She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Robin, Sarah, Bryan and Eric. Laura will be fondly remembered by her stepsons Raymond (Sue), Claude (Debbie), Gerald and Marcel. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, November 4th. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Private interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lung Association or St. Mark's Anglican Church would be appreciated. A Tree will be planted in memory of Laura in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
