Obituary of Irene Arnold

ARNOLD, Irene Violet Marion - Passed away peacefully at the John Noble Home on Sunday, September 7th, 2008 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Edwin Arnold (1996). Loving mother of John (Vera), Wayne and his wife Gail, Gary and his wife Ruth. Caring grandmother of Tammy, Jamie, Robert and his wife Doretta, Angela and her husband Neil. Also survived by seven great-grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers. Irene was a chartered member and life member of the South Brant Legion (Branch 463) - Ladies Auxillary. She was a member of the South Brant Legion (Branch 463) for 28 years. She was also a member of the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Irene in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
