Obituary of Kay Edith Gilmour

GILMOUR, "Kay" Edith Kathleen - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008 in her 104th year. Beloved wife of the late John R. Gilmour (1974). Loving mother of Jean Nunn (Jamie) and Herb Gilmour (Rosanne). She is survived by her loving daughters-in-law Margaret, of Toronto, and Shirley, of Brantford. Predeceased by her sons Robert, James and Nelson, and her daughter-in-law Helen. She will be fondly remembered by 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Friday from 1-3 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Friday at 3 p.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Kay in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
