Obituary of Howard Litt

LITT, Howard N.J. - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday, August 21st, 2008 in his 86th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Mae. Loving father of Steve (Melissa), of B.C. He is survived by his sister Helen Brown, and his brother Claude (Betty). Predeceased by his parents Norman and Dora Litt, his sister Marg, and brothers Max and Ev. He will also be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Howard served during the Second World War in the Irish Regiment of Canada. He was a very giving, caring person who was always concerned about the needs of others. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Howard in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
