Obituary of Doreen Smith

SMITH, Doreen (nee Chambers) - Gone to be with her Lord and Savior, Doreen passed away on Sunday, July 6th, 2008, in her 78th year. Loving and devoted wife of Fred Smith for over 57 years. Much loved mother of Malcolm (Marion) and Stephen (Sherry) Smith. Dear grandmother of Jennifer, Trevor, Aimee, Christopher, Alycia and Michaela and great-grandmother of Emmett and Alyssa. She will also be dearly missed by many other family and friends. Friends will be received at St Luke's Anglican Church, 130 Elgin Street, on Thursday, July 10th, from 10-11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Church at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Doreen in the Beckett - Glaves Memorial Forest.
