Condolences
Mrs Barry was my piano teacher for six years when I was growing up on Brier Crescent We also attended Greenbriar Church when she was there. My late mother Norma Burch knew her well. I have very pleasant memories of the time I knew her. I pass on my sympathies to your family. regards, Dave Burch
Marquerite was a lovely lady and "a very patient piano teacher".(My daughter's words) We moved to the same street in Brantford from Toronto near the same time and she was always very helpful and welcoming. Sincere sympathy. Sandra Powell
My brother, Peter Smale, just phoned me from Nova Scotia to tell me of Marguerite's passing. Marguerite was an amazing friend to my mother, Marnie Smale. She did so many kind things for her over many years. I want you to know how much I valued her friendship and her beautiful personality. She will be missed by all who knew her but never forgotten. My thoughts are with you at this time.
Dear Family: I was informed today by Judy Clarke that your mother had died. Marguerite was a loyal and patient friend of my mother Marney Smale for many years. I will never forget how much this meant to her and my sister and I. I will be sure that Joan knows about Margarite's passing and I wish to extend my condolences to you at this sad time. Sincerely, Peter Smale Wolfville, NS
I was very sad to learn of Marguerite's death. What a beautiful, lovely woman she was and so patient to take me on as a piano student when I was 40 with no previous music history. Towards the end of our lessons she might not have been able to always see me well, but she sure could hear the music and I think she must have had every piece so well memorized that she could pick up even the tiniest error, but always so gently. I send my deepest condolences to her daughters and friends.
