MERCER, Millicent "Millie" Flora (nee Bradbury) - It is with great sadness and deep regret that we inform you of the passing of our mother, Millie, born in 1925. Beloved wife of the late Ray Mercer (1991) for 45 years. Mother of Walter (Linda), and Ken (Sue). Grandmother of Cory, Kenneth, Robert and Kyle. Great-grandmother of Myla Nicole. Predeceased by her brothers Walter, Harve, Graham, Malburn and Albert. Survived by her sisters Mary, Jean, and Faye. Millie always had a positive outlook on life and truly appreciated her many dear friends. She will be deeply missed. Millie was very involved with her church for many years and enjoyed her church time very much. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. Memorial donations to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Brantford would be appreciated. A very special thanks to Brantford's Home Health Care nurses, C.C.A.C. nurses, the staff at Amber Lea, St. Joe's (Hamilton) 7th floor caregivers, Dr. Allistair Ingram and Dr. Gerard Quinn. A tree will be planted in memory of Millie in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
