SAGER, Susan E. - Passed away peacefully, after a 3 year battle with Ovarian Cancer, at the Stedman Community Hospice on Monday, August 25th, 2014 in her 54th year. Beloved wife, soulmate, and best friend of Paul Urbanowicz. Much loved mother of Chris (Dana) Drong, and Tiffany Drong. Step mom to Jason (Elaine) Urbanowicz, and Shari (Mike) Cole. Grandmother to Zoe, Falyn, Kennedy, and Millie. Cherished daughter of Dorothy and the late Ross Sager. Dear sister of Sandra (Tom), Maggie (the late Brian), and Robert (Patty). Susan will also be sadly missed by her aunt Mary, and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Susan was the past curator of Myrtleville House Museum, and more recently the Manager of Tourism and Communications for the City of Brantford for over 14 years, working tirelessly to establish Brantford as a tourist destination in Ontario. Susan enjoyed her gardens as well has helping her husband Paul find that next antique treasure. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave, Brantford on Wednesday, August 27th, 2014 from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Thursday, August 28th from 1 - 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre, Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope - Sue's Crew through tourism Brantford, Wayne Gretzky Pkwy, Brantford, ON N3R 8B4, Canada (800) 265-6299, or the Stedman Community Hospice, 99 Wayne Gretzky Pkwy, Brantford would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Susan in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
