SERACK, Lillian (nee: Gavriloff) - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late George Serack. Loving mother of the late Bill Serack. Also predeceased by her siblings Peter Gavriloff, Kathleen Adie, Sally Moss, Tom Gavriloff, Mary Fuller, Bill Gavriloff, John Gavriloff, Dorothy Wharrie and Ann Ruttan. Mrs. Serack was an employee of the W. Ross MacDonald School for the Blind for 23 years, a member of the Centennial Rebekah Lodge for over 25 years, and a very active member of the Beckett Seniors while she was able. At Mrs. Serack's request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will take place at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Wednesday, May 28, at 1:00 p.m. Donations to St. Andrew's United Church (formerly Zion United Church) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Mrs. Serack in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
