JEWELL, Hazel Lena - Passed away peacefully at the St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, Brantford on Tuesday, March 18th, 2014 in her 93rd year. Beloved mother of Dale (Pamela) Jewell, and 2nd mother to Sharon (David) Loughead. She is survived by her sister Wilma (the late Jack) Armstrong. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Nina Kirkby, and her brothers Willard (Norma), and Lyle (Barb) Kirkby; and her sister Milner (Bill) Grey. Devoted grandmother of Alex (Ai), and Ian (Lorna) Jewell, and her great-granddaughters Momoka and Emily Jewell. Hazel will also be fondly remembered by many other nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in memory of Hazel at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, Brantford on Saturday, June 21st, 2014 at 2 p.m. Donations to the Alzheimer Society of Brant would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Hazel in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
