Obituary of Eva Robins

ROBINS, Eva (nee Holmes) - Passed away on Thursday, February 20th, 2014 at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre. Dear wife of the late Norman Robins (1983), her loving husband of over 40 years. Much loved mother of Ronald (Lori) Robins and Norma (Phil) Cockram. Beloved grandmother of Ron (Maggie) Robins, Jodi Robins (James), D.J. (Chris) King, Greg (Cassie) Robins, Ian Cockram and Tyler (Wanda) Cockram. Sister of Marion (Al) Knapp and Joyce (Al) McDonald. She is predeceased by her sister Elsie Webster and her brother Art Holmes. Eva was an avid bowler and golfer and loved to travel. She had a special trip to the British Isles, the birth place of her father in Wales and had traveled to Alaska. Many thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, Bluebird Wing, where she was lovingly cared for by the staff for over 9 years. Special thanks to Andrea, Sue, Sandy, Robin and Liz. She is at last reunited with her loving husband Norm. Friends will be received at the BECKETT- GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue, on Monday, February 24th from 1-2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the St. Joseph's Lifecare Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Brant would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Eva in the Beckett Glaves Memorial Forest
