DUNSDON, Harold E. - Passed away peacefully at Riverview Terrace, on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008 in his 102nd year. Beloved husband of the late Norma Hope Knox (1999) for almost 70 years. Loving father of the late infant Robert (1940) and Harold (Harry) and his wife Dianne. Devoted grandfather of Amanda Hope Dunsdon, of Scarborough. He is survived by his brother Les, of Burlington. Predeceased by two sisters Lillian McElhinney, and Gertrude Naylor and four brothers Sidney, Gordon, Thomas and Chester. He will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Harold was the co-founder and owner of the Mohawk Creamery from the mid-1930's until his retirement in 1971. He was a long time member and past Worshipful Master of the Masonic Lodge in Onondaga, and a long standing member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Harold in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
