Obituary of Stella Cameron

CAMERON, Kathleen "Kay" (nee Newell) - Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, on Nov. 22nd, 2013 in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Ross (1995). Loving mother of the late Donald (1995) and his wife Joanne, Ruth Henricks, Joan (Richard) Archer and Robert (Grazyna) Cameron, and "Aunt Kay" to Jim (Margaret) Kendall, Margaret Hewings, Ann (Pat) Poirier, Jean Kendall, and Mary (Dave) Oliver. Devoted grandmother of Scott (Betty Summerhayes) Archer, Jennifer (Jim) Bergsma, Shannon (Felix) Stasevicius, and Michael Archer, Kadette Vinnai, and Kelly Steelman, and Jim Cameron, and Mary Kolosowski. Great-grandmother of Emily, Duncan, Maxwell, and Douglas, Matthew and Jordan, Patrick and Andrew, Derrick, Tyler and Kassidy, David and Juliane, and Sebastian and Isabella. She is predeceased by her parents Charles Newell and Winnifred Adamson, and her brother Lorne (Margaret), and an infant brother. She will be fondly remembered by all of her family members and friends. Kay was a faithful member of Wesley United Church, was very fond of her music and was very artistic in many other ways. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Monday from 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 - 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. Donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, the Stedman Community Hospice, or St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Kay in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
