Obituary of Peggy Philp

Philp, Peggy D. - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Saturday, November 9th, 2013 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Andrew for over 60 years. Loving mother of Cindy (Ken) Lambert and Sandra (Tom) Baskerville. "Granma" to Mark, Lindsey and Kasey. She will be sadly missed by her cousins in Scotland and the many friends she made throughout her lifetime. Peggy was a retired kindergarten teacher who taught for many years in the Brantford area and a long time member of Greenbrier Presbyterian Church. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Wednesday from 1 - 2:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the S.P.C.A of Brant would be most appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Peggy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
