COWHERD, Evangeline Margaret "Van" - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, October 11, 2013 in her 94th year. Beloved sister of Doris Bull and sister-in-law Marie Cowherd. Aunt Van was survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other family members. Predeceased by her brothers Crawford (1990), Roscoe (1990), sister Grace (1999) and brother Donald (1983). Van was a longtime employee of Watsons (Penmans) and a faithful member of The Church of the Nazarene for many years. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gordon McCann officiating. Donations to the Church of the Nazarene or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Van in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
