Obituary of Roman Onyschak

Onyschak, Roman, Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Bernice (2013). Loved and cherished "Pops" of Sharon Anderson. Caring grandfather of Scott, Mark, Barbara and great-grandfather of Dustin Anderson, Jordan and Holly Whidden. Cherished uncle of Brenda, (John), Marian (Jack), Frank, Charles and great-uncle of Kara, Kyle and Jessica. Survived by brothers Steve (Marilyn), and John. Predeceased by his sisters Pearl, Mary, Anne, Kay and brother George. Roman was the owner/operator of Roman Electric for over 30 years. Friends will be received at the BECKETT-GLAVES FAMILY FUNERAL CENTRE, 88 Brant Avenue on Friday from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place privately at White Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Brantford General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Roman in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
