DAWSON, Kathleen - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, February 1, 2012, in her 82nd year. Predeceased by husbands William Russell Hetherington and Ernest Dawson, and children Wendy and Jamie. Loving mother of Janet, Bill and Debra Day Hetherington. Caring grandmother of Alex Day and Jake Hetherington. Kathie is being cremated as per her wishes. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Sunday from 1 - 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel on Sunday at 2 p.m. Donations to the Palliative Care Unit at the Brantford General Hospital would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Kathie in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
