Obituary of Joyce Edworthy

Edworthy, Joyce- Surrounded by her family, it is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Joyce Elaine Lillian Edworthy in her 91st year on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Peter Joseph Edworthy, cherished mother of Cindy and her husband Don Compeau, and Vicky Conway, loving grandmother of Matt Compeau and Biying Miao, Ally Compeau and her husband Jesse Dugard, and great grandmother of Kai and Scotti. Joyce devoted her life to nurturing her family, creating memories filled with love, strength and kindness, her passion was her family and the boundless love she shared with them. Joyce was an active and cherished member of All Saints’ Anglican Church, finding great joy and purpose within her faith, offering her time, support and friendship. She will be profoundly missed, her dedication to family and faith will continue to inspire us. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the John Noble Home for their wonderful care, kindness and compassion. A private family service will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025 at All Saints’ Anglican Church. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Joyce’s memory to All Saints’ Church, 688 Mt. Pleasant Rd., Mt. Pleasant, Ontario, N0E 1K0. Arrangements have been entrusted with Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. Brantford, 519-752-4331. A tree will be planted in memory of Joyce in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
