COURTNAGE, Roy Arthur - Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15th, 2011, at the Brantford General Hospital, in his 88th year. Loving uncle of Don Eadie (Elizabeth), Brenda Bennett (Russell), Lori Courtnage (Ron), Doug Courtnage (Kelley) and Greg Courtnage. Will be sadly missed by great nieces and nephews and a great-great niece. Dear friend of Rob and Mary Dinner. Predeceased by parents, Lorne and Dora Courtnage; siblings Annie and Edna(in infancy), (twin sister) Reta Eadie (Gordon) and brother Stuart. Roy was a life-long farmer and well known in the Scotland area. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Thursday, February 17th, from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Oakland Cemetery. Donations to the Brantford General Hospital Foundation, St. Joseph's Lifecare Foundation or the Brant United Way would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Roy in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
